5. Other organisations that handle your data

We use a small number of service providers who handle data only on our instructions, under contracts that require them to keep it secure:

7. How the score is worked out

Your match score is calculated automatically, from the skills the job spec asks for that your CV shows, how closely your experience matches the role overall and, if you name the company, how your background fits its industry and size. AI is used to read the spec, find skills and write suggestions.

The score is guidance for you only. Nobody makes a decision about you based solely on it, and it isn't used to accept or reject you for any job. If you think a result is wrong, you can tell us.

8. Sensitive information in CVs

Please don't include information such as your health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political views in your CV, as it isn't needed for a CV check. If your CV does contain this kind of information, we don't use it for anything, and it's handled in the same way as the rest of your CV.
